If your Android phone is on a supported mobile network, you can easily top up its airtime via Telerivet, without needing to buy airtime vouchers from a local vendor.
Topping up airtime via Telerivet can be especially convenient if your Android phone is located remotely (perhaps in a different country from your main office). Topping up airtime via Telerivet also ensures that your communication expenses are easy to track and reconcile, reducing the need to buy airtime via cash or reimburse employees.
On your Routes page, click on your Android phone, then click “Top up airtime now”:
Note that this option will be hidden if Telerivet doesn’t support sending airtime to your mobile network.
If available for your mobile network, select whether you would like to send airtime credits or a bundle. Some mobile networks offer data, talk-time, or SMS bundles that may be more cost-effective than sending airtime credits in certain scenarios.
Then, select a value from the dropdown list and click Send:
If your Telerivet account balance doesn’t have enough funds to cover the airtime price, Telerivet will prompt you to add funds to your account.
If your account hasn’t been approved for airtime topups or the price is over your daily limit, it will show that the transaction is awaiting approval.
Otherwise, Telerivet will perform the airtime transfer and the Airtime page will show if the airtime topup succeeded or if any errors occurred.
