To set up an SMS auto-reply, add a new service, then click "Auto-Reply". Telerivet has built-in templates for three types of auto-replies:
- When a text message is received
- When a text message is received with a particular keyword
- When a phone call is received
Sending Auto-Replies for a Particular Keyword
To configure auto-replies for one or more keywords, simply fill in the keywords and auto-reply:
Sending Auto-Replies for Invalid Keywords
To send an auto-reply if a user sends an invalid keyword, add a new auto-reply service that is triggered "When a text message is received":
In order for this service to only handle invalid keywords (instead of all messages), it is necessary to order the service after any other services on the Services page. If it is not already at the bottom, drag and drop the service to the bottom of the services listed on the Incoming Message tab on the Services page, as shown below:
